Taylor’s Education Group (TEG) is one of Southeast Asia’s most trusted names in private education, with a legacy spanning more than five decades. With a strong presence across Malaysia, Singapore, and Vietnam, TEG has grown into a dynamic regional education ecosystem spanning K–12 and higher education, serving close to 37,000 students annually and a thriving alumni network of over 100,000 across the region.
Today, TEG’s portfolio comprises the Australian International School Malaysia, Garden International School, Lexel International Schools, Nexus International Schools, SenTia School, Taylor’s International Schools, British University Vietnam, Taylor’s College, and Taylor’s University, as well Taylor’s Hostel Management and Taylor’s Education Group Assets comprising student accommodations and campus management services.

The journey begins with the establishment of Garden International School.
A legacy in education begins. Taylor's College is founded, marking the start of what would become one of Malaysia's most influential education groups.
Garden International School and Sri Garden School shape Malaysia's K–12 landscape. Foundations of excellence built across decades.
Taylor's Education Group is formally established under a unified brand, bringing all institutions under a single shared vision and long-term regional strategy.
Taylor's Education Pte Ltd and Taylor's Education Group Assets established, creating the corporate engine for accelerated regional growth and infrastructure expansion.
The landmark Lakeside land is secured. Campuses acquired include Australian International School Malaysia, Garden International School (Bukit Kiara & Early Years), and Taylor's College Subang Jaya.
Taylor's University is established and the RM450 million Lakeside Campus opens. This is a defining milestone cementing TEG's position as a premier higher education provider.
Nexus International School Singapore (NISS) and British University Vietnam (BUV) are acquired, marking TEG's decisive leap into international education markets. NISS was rebranded from Excelsior International School.
Sri Garden School evolves into Taylor's International School, strengthening the group's premium K–12 brand across Malaysia and the region.
BUV's state-of-the-art Ecopark campus opens in northern Vietnam. Nexus International School Singapore expands with its Aljunied campus, deepening the group's regional footprint.
Taylor's University enters the Top 50 in QS Asia University Rankings, the only private Malaysian university in the ranking. KKR's partnership helps further accelerate the group's next phase of growth.
ESG initiatives are activated across all campuses, demonstrating TEG's commitment to sustainability, responsible business, and social impact at a regional scale.
Ranked #27 in Asia, Taylor's University attains the self-accreditation status, reflecting its academic excellence while enabling greater autonomy in programme development. TEG launches Lexel International School, introducing a new model of accessible and high-quality education for students.
SenTia School in Vietnam joins Taylor's Education Group, creating a seamless K-12 to higher education pathway in Vietnam. Tau is launched as the Group's dedicated corporate learning business that strengthens the Group's lifelong learning ecosystem.
